What's it about?

The museum presents valuable regional historical objects and artworks from antiquity to the present; archaeological finds, Roman inscriptions, sacred folk customs, local views, portraits, medieval and baroque statues, farmers' furniture, beekeepers' hive boards, citizens' costumes, and much more... A dedicated focus shows the detailed historical documentation of the events during the Carinthian referendum of 1918-1920. Opening hours: May-October Tuesday-Friday 10 am-1 pm; 2 pm-4 pm Saturday 9 am-12 pm Closed on Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays.
