The OKH jazz group "thursdays4jazz" invites you to the premiere: On Saturday, July 25th, the first OKH Jazz Picnic will take place – Saturday morning, admission from 10:00 AM, start 10:30 AM. Spread out your blanket, open your basket, enjoy the music. The picnic features a top-class musical lineup: Pianist Walter Fischbacher, born in Vöcklabruck in 1966 and based in New York for many years, dedicates himself to the Beatles' songbook. His arrangements shift familiar harmonies and rhythms, opening up new improvisational spaces – lively, rhythmically dense reinterpretations of classic pop songs. In the second set, singer Elisabeth Lohninger focuses on the work of Queen. With her expressive voice and jazz-oriented band lineup, she unfolds the complex structure and emotional depth of Freddie Mercury's pieces in a new musical context. Electricity comes from the in-house photovoltaic system, reusable items are standard, and catering focuses on regional products. The OKH is located in the middle of Vöcklabruck – accessible on foot, by bike, or via the bus station (Öttlstraße). Bicycle parking spaces and a bike repair station are available on site.
