In modernity, death is banished to the margins of experience, reduced to a biological phenomenon, a statistical figure, or a medical incident; something that always happens to others and is rarely recognized as one's own possibility. Yet, precisely in its inevitability, it reveals its deepest meaning: death is not simply the end of life, but the ultimate possibility that every existence begins...
