Festive Mass as part of Musica Sacra 2026

What's it about?

In summer, Klagenfurt Cathedral transforms into a music centre with Musica Sacra 2025: A festive series that brings together solemn masses with the cathedral music choir and orchestra, taking place on Sundays and Assumption Day (August 15th) at 10:00 AM each time. Immediately afterwards, organ matinees follow at approximately 11:15 AM, presented by cathedral organist Klaus Kuchling, cathedral choirmaster Thomas Wasserfaller, and students from the Gustav Mahler Private University, featuring a repertoire from Bach to Liszt to contemporary works.
