Kork & Küche – Slow Wine Genuss-Tour durch Klagenfurt

What's it about?

At "Kork & Küche," Carinthia's young Slow-Wine scene is brought to life in the center of Klagenfurt. Five gastronomy establishments open their doors to five wineries of the Slow Wine Coalition Carinthia: Weinbau Waltl, Vinum Virunum, Sternberg, vlg. Ritter, and Von der Leiten. At each station, there is an eighth of wine and a small, specially paired delicacy from the house's kitchen. Which winemaker is pouring where remains a small mystery until the evening — guests choose the order of the stations themselves. This turns the evening into a relaxed tasting walk through the city. The focus is on craftsmanship, origin, and encounter: the wines come from small Carinthian producers who work according to the Slow-Wine philosophy of "good, clean, and fair." If a guest particularly likes a wine, they can buy it directly at the station as a bottle.
