What's it about?

Exhibition duration: until February 28, 2027 Since 2011, the Klagenfurt City Theatre has been dedicating increased attention to the German composer Richard Wagner with remarkable intensity. The theater gallery displays four costumes and the associated sketches from Wagner's Die Walküre, as well as Tristan and Isolde. We are bringing the workshops into the spotlight. Our theme this time is to examine the work of tailoring and mask-making through a few examples up close. (Curator: Dr. Günter Schmidauer) This exhibition is created in cooperation with the Klagenfurt City Theatre.
