A unique concert awaits you on October 16th at 8:00 PM in the atmospheric Middle Hall of the Konzerthaus in Klagenfurt. You will hear enchanting soundtracks from world-famous anime such as "Howl's Moving Castle," "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," "Spirited Away," and "My Neighbor Totoro" by the greatest modern Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi. We invite you to immerse yourself in the world of magical music, accompanied by a colorful performance by the contemporary orchestra Mystery Ensemble. A delight for the whole family is guaranteed. Throughout his long career, Hisaishi has worked on music for films, anime, video games, television, and advertising. Another highlight of his career was the musical design of the 1998 Nagano Paralympic Games. Hisaishi's most famous works are heard in the cult films of Takeshi Kitano and in the anime of Hayao Miyazaki. Especially the brilliant creators Hisaishi and Miyazaki harmonize perfectly. It remains a mystery whether Miyazaki's films became great through Hisaishi's music or Hisaishi's music achieved greatness through Miyazaki's films. An unusually beautiful concert in the atmospheric interior of the Konzerthaus Klagenfurt on a cozy autumn evening! Joe Hisaishi is one of the most famous Japanese composers. His first album, "Information," was released in 1982.
