Tuesday, October 13, 2026, 8:00 PM TRIO WUNDERSAM Christine Nöstlinger created classics of dialect literature with her poems "Iba de gaunz oamen Leit". Her social commitment to outsiders remained influential on her poetic worldview until her death. "Kana wü segn, wia si a Lem afoch so ergem kau," is how it is expressed in the programmatic poem. With permission from the Residenz-Verlag, composers Nikolaus Newerkla and Mathias Krispin Bucher, together with singer Sophie Eder, have set various Nöstlinger poems to music. The compositions serve the texts and are stylistically versatile, ranging between pop, chanson, jazz, and Viennese song. Sophie Eder's voice and linguistic artistry make these new songs memorable gems of sung poetry.
