Kammerlichtspiele

The Jazz Club Kammerlichtspiele was founded at the end of 2008 by the Carinthian Lakeside Jazz Orchestra association in cooperation with the provincial capital Klagenfurt. Since then, up to 120 concerts, theater or cabaret evenings have taken place annually in the hall of the former Kammerlichtspiele cinema, which seats approximately 120 people. There are collaborations particularly with the Kärntner Landeskonservatorium and the Stadttheater Klagenfurt. The main concern of the club operators is to sustainably enliven the cultural life in Klagenfurt with high-caliber live music and theater/cabaret evenings.
