What's it about?

Franz Schuh, born in Vienna in 1947, studied philosophy, history, and German language and literature, and lives in Vienna as a writer, columnist, and critic. He has published numerous books for which he has received many awards. Schuh is considered one of the last essayists who dissect society in the sharp-tongued tradition of Karl Kraus or Elias Canetti. He teaches at the University of Applied Arts. Since his youth, Franz Schuh has been fond of traveling and curious about the world. He has always been interested in words, which he forms into polished sentences. To be heard on Ö1: "Das Magazin des Glücks." His most recent essays were published under the title "Steckt den Sand nicht in den Kopf." The evening at the Gabillonhaus in Grundlsee will be accompanied by pianist Suyang Kim. Suyang Kim, born in Kyoungu/South Korea, lives in Linz. She performs as a concert pianist at home and abroad. Guests can look forward to a successful summer evening in the Ausseerland!
