Thoughts on Advent

What's it about?

On November 29, 2026, the Simalhof in the district of Obersdorf near Bad Mitterndorf in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut invites you to a cozy Advent afternoon titled "Thoughts on Advent". The zither group Saitenspiel and the duo Zeitenklänge will provide the musical backdrop and create a contemplative pre-Christmas atmosphere with their sounds. Additionally, Gabriela Marchner Trieb will read selected texts that invite reflection, contemplation, and preparation for the Advent season. The Simalhof is located in a quiet setting, not far from Kumitzberg with its prominently visible church. The special location and the cozy atmosphere of the farm offer a beautiful setting for a reflective Advent afternoon.
