Kirche am Kumitzberg

The pilgrimage church is located in the district of Obersdorf/Knoppen on a protruding rock surrounded by dense forest. Even in prehistoric times, people made pilgrimages to this hill standing freely in the landscape. After Christianization, crowds of pilgrims also came here. Those who feel committed to the Catholic faith may follow the Stations of the Cross. Other spiritually interested people can also find their own paths to the Kumitz - the name comes from Slavic and simply means "hill".
