Sinabell Klettersteig (C/D)

What's it about?

We have chosen this via ferrata for good reasons; it is one of the most beautiful scenic routes, with an indescribable panoramic view from the summit. To reach the start, you must first undertake a 1000-meter ascent from Feistererhof up to Guttenberghaus, which is naturally less frequented, making the route less crowded. Although nearly 300 meters of the route go almost vertically through the south face of Sinabell, the difficulty level for this steepness is relatively low, rated up to upper C. However, the route is very airy and exposed, which we find very appealing! :-) It is an ideal via ferrata for mountain lovers, for whom the approach is not a burden but part of the tour. The Sinabell summit is over 2000 meters high, offering a magnificent panoramic view over the Hochfläche of the Dachstein massif. Start at Feistererhof, then hike about 2 hours to Guttenberghaus, take a short break, followed by 2 hours on the via ferrata. Coffee at the GBH, then a 1.5-hour descent to ...
