Irish Christmas

What's it about?

For more than ten years, 'Irish Christmas' has been part of the Advent season in Trofaiach. This year, visitors can again expect a cozy and varied evening with lively and contemplative songs from the Green Isle, Irish drinks, and musical surprise guests. The evening will be musically hosted by Desmond Doyle & The Volunteers, who have been shaping the distinctive character of Irish Christmas for many years. As special guests this time, Hup To The Moon will be performing again. The folk duo Christoph and Walter from the Voitsberg district will present captivating traditional Irish folk, Scottish songs, sea shanties, as well as original compositions inspired by Celtic sounds. Using Uilleann Pipes, guitar, bouzouki, whistles, harmonica, and bodhrán, they will take the audience on a diverse musical journey.
