In reference to the planned opening of the Koralm Tunnel in 2026, Pavelhaus is conceptualizing the exhibition "Der Tunnelblick - von Hubschraubern Erinnerung und viel Sprachlichkeit" (Tunnel Vision - of Helicopters, Memory and Much Language) in which artists from both Styrias and Carinthia engage in an artistic discourse with the new connection between the two federal states. At the same time, the exhibition will explore what historical and cultural connections exist between the two federal states and what gaps in memory still remain. Together with the Graz Initiative for Peace and Neutrality (GIFFUN) and the Nagasaki-Brescia Kaki Tree Project for Europe association, a Kaki tree will be planted in the Pavelhaus garden as a symbol of peace. Admission free.
