Pavel Hike

What's it about?

The Pavelhaus in Laafeld and the Avgust Pavel Cultural Association in Cankova are named after the linguist Avgust Pavel (1886-1946), who was born in Cankova and whose parents lived in Laafeld for 20 years. On the occasion of the commemorative year, the associations invite you to a hike from Laafeld to Cankova and back. At 10:00 AM, the start is at the Pavelhaus, followed by an easy walk of approx. 4.5 km. Arrival in Cankova is approx. 11:30 AM. Food and drinks will be provided there. Afterwards, there will be a cultural program with music, and at 2:00 PM we will hike back.
