Borderless Hike | Moor Hike Across the Border

What's it about?

Cross-border pleasure hike with observation stations and cultural-historical information. Starting from the Zollhaus, we march along the wildlife enclosure in Eisenberg to the Girjek and Kodl houses. The two houses were cut off from the connection to Felsöszölnök by the annexation to Austria (1921) and by the erected Iron Curtain. Afterwards, we cross the green border. Then we hike along the Janoschberg and can admire the natural features of Hungary until we reach the refreshment station Gasthaus Kern. After a small refreshment, we return to the starting point.
