Exhibition "das TIER. und wir" in Feldbach

What's it about?

Pictures, sculptures, drawings, and photographs tell of the long history of the human-animal relationship and remind us of the Earth as a shared habitat, which is now primarily ecologically threatened. Subtle, visually powerful, ironic, and critical, the exhibition at the Kunsthalle Feldbach presents the animal as a timeless motif in art, as a counterworld to human rationality, and as a projection surface for fears, dreams, and desires. The exhibition is based on the same-named show at the Stift Millstatt (June-October 2026) and was made possible in cooperation with the Verein millstART. Artists: Mela Diamant, Gernot Fischer-Kondratovitch, Petra Forman, Uta Heineke, Gudrun Kampl, Guido Katol, Martin Krammer, Alois Mosbacher, Sabine Ott, Olga Pastekowa, Carlos Perez, Peter Raneburger, Joachim Röderer, Elisabeth von Samsonow, Deborah Sengl, Anna Stangl, Erik Tannhäuser, Judith Wagner.
