Heimat.Museum im Tabor in Feldbach

The Heimat.Museum is a small universal museum in the Tabor, a more than 500-year-old historic defensive complex, in Feldbach. Since the middle of the 20th century, it has offered a fast-forward glimpse into life in Southeast Styria. A total of 12 different exhibitions are shown in 41 rooms across 1,300 square meters. Starting with the geology of the Thermen- und Vulkanland Steiermark, the Raab habitat, the Stone Age, up to the recent past. The Heimat.Museum im Tabor is supported by the municipality of Feldbach, many private individuals, and the Southeast Styrian Association for Local History. The museum's mission in the old defensive complex is to collect, preserve, research, present, and convey material and immaterial aspects of Southeast Styria.
