What's it about?

On December 31st, the now traditional Elmleiten New Year's Eve hike will take place. Step by step, say goodbye to the old year, meet friends, look back on the past year, and toast to happiness and success in the new year... Starting at 10:00 AM from Gasthaus Gallbrunner or Gasthof Fischbacherhof along the Mariazell Pilgrimage Route with several refreshment stations: - Gasthaus Gallbrunner - Gasthaus Hammerlschmied - Fischerhütte "Waisenbauer" - Joglland Teifl - Station - HSG - Hirzi Hütte - Fischerhütte - "DeMonte" - Hofbauer Mühle - Sportunion Fischbach Participants can join at any point and at any time. Along the way, hikers will be served small snacks, warming drinks, and sparkling wine for toasting the new year at the huts! This is a free hike without a guide! No registration is required. Route length: 10 km Pure walking time approx. 2.5 hours
