EMPATHY IS NO WEAKNESS is the band's tenth studio album — a title that shows attitude and at the same time describes the core of what Die Happy has stood for for more than three decades: humanity, passion, and the conviction that strength does not come from hardness but from compassion. The album title is a deliberate counterstatement to Elon Musk's public statement that empathy is 'the greatest weakness of Western civilization.' For Die Happy, the opposite is true. Empathy does not mean concession — it means standing up for each other, taking responsibility, and not losing oneself despite all differences. But EMPATHY IS NO WEAKNESS is far from being a political manifesto. The ten new songs tell stories that connect: of love, hope, loss, longing, courage, and the small moments that change our lives. For example, the single 'Crazy' celebrates the overwhelming feeling of a love that unexpectedly bursts into life and suddenly turns everything upside down — full of lightness, euphoria, and the certainty that sometimes even the boldest dreams come true. With 'Loving You,' Die Happy also deliver a great rock ballad about unconditional love. Lines like 'Loving you is like a perfect shot, burning all the way down, but I still want a lot' make the song an anthem for all who commit unreservedly to each other — and perhaps the future wedding song for a new generation of rock fans. Musically, the band builds on their strengths without standing still: powerful guitars, catchy hooks, emotional depth, and Marta Jandová's unmistakable voice meet a modern, punchy sound. It is an album full of energy that invites both reflection and loud sing-alongs. "Empathy is not a weakness for us, but the greatest strength we have — and you can hear that on this album," says Marta Jandová. After seven years without a new studio album, Die Happy will finally go on a large tour in spring 2027. The new songs will be performed alongside classics from the band's entire history — promising concerts that will be as emotional as they are powerful. More than thirty years after their founding, Die Happy once again prove that rock can have attitude without raising a finger.
