Schlossbergbahn Graz

What do Graz and Niagara Falls have in common? Admittedly, it's not easy to guess: it's a funicular railway. The Schlossbergbahn takes visitors up to the Schlossberg, Graz's local mountain, in one and a half minutes. The extremely steep route offers a little thrill each time and wonderful views of Graz and its old town. This spectacular railway has been in operation for over a hundred years, allowing visitors to stylishly reach the Schlossberg to enjoy the panorama and perhaps a lively festival.
