What's it about?

Pre-Christmas magic in a special setting: From Friday, November 20, to Sunday, November 22, 2026, the cloister courtyard and the monastery building in Mautern will be transformed into a atmospheric Advent market, inviting visitors to explore, enjoy, and linger. In the unique atmosphere of the monastery, regional exhibitors will present their lovingly crafted products and special gift ideas. Whether small tokens for loved ones or decorative items for the Advent season – there is much to discover here. Visitors will also find culinary delights. The food and drink offerings are excellent, while the Advent café offers a cozy break and a chance for social gathering. A varied musical program for all ages will provide contemplative moments and emphasize the festive mood. Thus, the Advent market Mautern becomes a special meeting place for everyone who wants to celebrate the most beautiful time of the year together.
