GENESIS - Immersive Lightshow
What's it about?
The immersive light show GENESIS depicts the birth of life. It is an artistic homage to the beginning of everything. Beautiful animations – perfectly adapted to the architectural features of the walls and ceilings and accompanied by music – allow viewers to fully immerse themselves in the art. State-of-the-art technology and creative animations merge into a unique experience that offers a hint of what the early days, which founded our existence, might have looked like. Graz – Herz-Jesu Church: The Herz-Jesu Church in Graz is one of the most important buildings of late Historicism in Styria. Built in the style of neo-Gothic brick Gothic, the structure impresses with its distinctive brick architecture and the 109.6-meter-high tower – the third tallest church tower in Austria. A special feature is the two-story complex with lower and upper churches, which was created due to the location of the building site. Inside, there is a large, largely column-free nave with high vaults and a clear spatial effect. The church also houses one of the few largely enclosed ensembles of neo-Gothic stained glass windows in Austria. The interplay of pointed arch shapes, tracery, stained glass, and the characteristic brick structure characterizes the interior and makes Herz-Jesu Church an outstanding example of historicist sacred architecture.
