34. Krampuslauf

What's it about?

Spooky figures, frightening masks, and a devilishly good atmosphere: On Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the main square in Mautern will once again turn into a scene of living tradition for the 34th Krampuslauf (Krampus run). When the Krampusse (Krampus figures) march through the town, their impressive masks, traditional costumes, and loud bell ringing create a special atmosphere and plenty of goosebump moments. Visitors can look forward to a atmospheric spectacle that makes the fascinating tradition of Krampus customs come alive. But the Krampuslauf is not the end! The aftershow party at Fichtenstadion will continue the celebration. With great mood and a convivial conclusion, the evening becomes a special experience for Krampus fans and tradition enthusiasts.
