Kombi-Führungen Ausstellung und ehem. Synagoge | "Dunkle Zeiten"

What's it about?

On the occasion of the "KLANGherbst" (Autumn Sound Festival), we offer a guided tour that connects two central chapters of Burgenland history. First, we explore the exhibition "Dunkle Zeiten – Von Tätern und Gerechten" (Dark Times – Of Perpetrators and Righteous) which deals with the period of National Socialist terror in Burgenland from 1938 to 1945. Afterwards, we visit the former Synagogue in Stadtschlaining with the exhibition "Spurensuche. Fragmente jüdischen Lebens im Burgenland" (Tracing Footsteps. Fragments of Jewish Life in Burgenland), which provides insights into Jewish life and personal fates in Burgenland. Registration: friedensburg@kultur-burgenland.at, +43 3355 2306
