What's it about?

In November, Burgenland celebrates its patron saint, Saint Martin. Of course, the Martini goose is also a highlight around Martinmas. On November 7th, there is almost double the enjoyment at the "Gänsemarsch" (Goose March): a guided hike from the Passhöhe of Geschriebenstein to the chosen Ganslwirt (goose inn). Participants can enjoy a hiking experience through the golden shimmering natural landscape and a wonderful goose menu at the respective Ganslwirt. Transfer from the Ganslwirt to the Passhöhe Geschriebenstein is provided by shuttle bus. After a snack of roasted chestnuts and a hot drink, everyone walks together with a guide to the selected Ganslwirt.
