metamorphosis 26 – „Kunst mi gernhobm“

What's it about?

After more than 10 years, a KUGA format is being reactivated, of which no one ever knew what it was really supposed to be! The metamorphosis 26 will be a multi-creative cultural conglomerate with an uncertain outcome. Several art forms will be showcased: performance, visual art, installation, live painting, music, improvised music, satire, fashion. The overarching title, which is not really one, is "Kunst mi gernhobm" (art I like to lift up). It will be chaotic, but also orderly. As a typical Tohuwabohu (chaos). Note: Please wear non-sensitive clothing and shoes – it could get sticky and loud! More or less planned are: artist collective SchLeiMo & youth, band Suess, DJ Jakob Buchinger, Revena’s pop-up wardrobe, Barbara Mathes (installation & live art), Mike Huber (painting), Florian Reidinger (photography), Marko Leser (street art graffiti), Open Jam Stage* The program is in development – subject to change* Art action: The digital high mass (A procession of data saints) Presented by artist collective SchLeiMo The internet is our new religion – and Amazon, Google, Facebook, and TikTok are the altars at which we pray daily. The artist collective SchLeiMo invites you to the most absurd procession of the year! Accompanied by the live band "Suess," we move from altar to altar. The ceremony masters show us the way and transform the paths with Burgenland grape must into a sticky red slime trail of consumption. At the end of the liturgy, the bill is settled: the digital trash heap of corporations ends up where it belongs – in the Pipiklo.
