Mattersburger Christmas Market

What's it about?

The Christmas market at the Mattersburg event square creates a festive and Christmas atmosphere over three Advent weekends. Visitors can look forward to a diverse range of offerings including gastronomy, crafts, and live music. Several clubs will also participate in the Christmas market. The official opening takes place on Friday, December 4, 2026. On December 6, 2026, St. Nicholas will visit the event square, followed by the Perchten of the Mattersburg Castle Troop – all family-friendly. Live music will be offered on all days of the Christmas market – the program ranges from classical brass ensembles to Christmas jazz, pop, and rock sounds.
