Open Day in Burgenland Museums - Schuhmühle Schattendorf

What's it about?

On October 26, 2026, the 'Open Day' will take place for the 23rd time in museums across Burgenland. This year, 39 museums and collections are participating in this initiative. From Schloss Halbturn to the newly opened Film & Retro Museum in Minihof-Liebau, all participating museums — unless otherwise noted — can be visited free of charge from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At Schuhmühle Schattendorf, archaeological finds from Schattendorf, the mill's history, and art acquisitions can be seen. The '27er Haus' is also open.
