ClassicLounge – Motion Film

What's it about?

Music to see – images to hear Experience an extraordinary chamber music evening where classical music and film merge into a unique Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art). For "Motion Film," the concert hall is transformed into a cinema: while the Joseph Haydn Trio performs works from Austrian music history live, specially selected film sequences offer new perspectives on the music. Compositions by Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, and Johanna Doderer combine tradition with the present and invite you to experience music with all your senses. The visual elements complement the works, create moods, and make the concert evening an intense experience. Together with Teresia König, the Joseph Haydn Trio presents an innovative concert format that fascinatingly blurs the boundaries between concert hall and cinema.
