What's it about?

The Weingut Schumitsch-Stocker is a typical Burgenland family operation, cultivating 11 hectares in the best vineyards of Raiding – Raga, Winkelwald, and Deideckwald – in the Blaufränkischland wine region. The main variety is Blaufränkisch, but they also produce Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Merlot, as well as white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Müller Thurgau, and Chardonnay. Recently planted is Muscaris, a Muscat variety that does not require plant protection. The focus is on natural cultivation and a pruning method that results in less yield but higher quality. From the ripe grapes, careful processing ensures optimal wine quality.
