The quoted maxim also applies to the other two works of the evening: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's famous B-flat minor Piano Concerto, featuring the fantastic Alexander Malofeev, born in 2001, as soloist, and also the immortal "Pathétique": The Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar and Julian Rachlin on the podium guarantee that the symphony, concerto, and opening piece will each unfold a crescendo of musical energy right up to their respective finales.
