Nature Jewel Ludescherberg: An Autumnal Refuge for Rare Animal and Plant Species
What's it about?
In September, the Natura 2000 area above Ludesch offers a special nature experience: On our autumnal ramble, we explore fens and lean meadows, which have developed such a rich biodiversity through centuries of traditional use. Along the way are geological wonders such as the tufa springs and the unique pine forests shaped by them. With a bit of luck and a keen eye, rare plants, insects, or birds can be discovered, finding their retreat in this diverse mosaic of forest and meadow. True to the motto "You only protect what you know," we invite you: Come along and immerse yourself in this valuable habitat in the heart of the Walgau! What to bring: Sturdy shoes, weather protection, drinks if necessary, and (if available) binoculars. Sure-footedness required!
