The "Hängender Stein" climbing garden in Nüziders is one of the largest and oldest climbing gardens in Vorarlberg. With a wall up to 100 meters high made of Hauptdolomit and more than 260 climbing routes of all difficulty levels, this climbing garden truly offers something for everyone. The focus at Hängender Stein is on difficulty levels between 6+ and 7+, but there are also numerous routes for beginners and pleasure climbers as well as for real professionals. The airy multi-pitch routes to the so-called "Köpfle", which can be climbed on routes of varying difficulty, offer a highlight in the climbing garden.Parking: a parking lot is located directly at the climbing garden. Equipment: own climbing equipment (climbing harness, climbing helmet, belay device, sling, climbing shoes), climbing rope, quickdraws.A climbing guide (e.g., Sportkletterführer Vorarlberg, Panico Alpinverlag) or an app (e.g., Vertical-Life) are recommended for describing the routes and difficulty levels, as the difficulties of the climbing routes are hardly labeled on site. The climbing garden should only be visited with appropriate climbing experience and equipment!
