Abraham HartmannThe starting point is the widely visible quarry, which bears witness to the former cement factory. Here you can still find individual traces of stone extraction and the brickworks. The location of the saw-mill pond, however, can only be guessed at. Around the Hängender Stein (Hanging Stone) leads the path, used since about 1370, coming from Bludenz into the district of Barx, the old center of Ludesch. Behind St. Martin's Church is the water castle built in 1911, as well as the site of the long-abandoned tuff quarry. These and other places will be explored during the joint walk.
