S’Paules & s‘Seppls Haus – Fiss Village Museum

What's it about?

With its large round-arched gate, tiny windows, and artfully decorated roof construction, the stately Oberinntal transit farm dominates the old town center of the 1000-inhabitant community of Fiss. Like many farms in this region, it shared the fate of real estate division until it was abandoned a few decades ago. With careful interventions, the architectural team "HG MERZ from Stuttgart (Mercedes Benz Museum) created a "new" museum that documents both the very varied building history of the house and the lives of its inhabitants.
