What's it about?
What does a horse's coat actually feel like? Where and how do horses sleep? At Hirnbach Hof in Kirchbichl, animal lovers will find plenty to discover! Together with riding educator Sandra, participants will explore the world of equine-assisted education, gain initial experience in handling horses — and of course, also get to ride themselves. An experience full of fun, closeness, and trust — with and around the horse! Besides the horses, the colorful farm life with chickens, cats, dogs, and the goats Max & Moritz awaits. Playfully, participants will learn how the animals live, what they need, and how to interact well with them. Creative craft projects with natural materials complete the afternoon. Meeting point: Hirnbach Hof, Hirnbachstraße 7, 6322 Kirchbichl Registration: At least 2 days in advance by 4:00 PM online, at the regional Hohe Salve info offices, or by calling +43 699 12625195 or emailing hirnbach@gmx.at Equipment: sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, sufficient fluids and sun protection, snack Cost with/without Kitzbühel Alps guest card: €25.00 per child / from 01.11.2026 €30.00 per child Duration: approximately 90 minutes Participants: at least 4 Note: Suitable for children between 3 and 12 years old, parents are welcome to stay nearby.
