What's it about?

About us - Tschentig Cool, casual, awesome - or simply tschentig? All these words mean the same, but none captures it as well as our Tyrolean dialect word Tschentig. It stands for what we are: honest, genuine, and passionate. We - Hanna, Daniel, Michael, and Paul - have been making music together since 2006. It all started with our love for traditional folk music - down-to-earth, handmade, authentic. A special milestone was in 2014, when Hanna won the ORF show "Die große Chance" with "Harfonie" - with harp, voice, and a lot of feeling. We have also developed musically: during music studies, on stage, in the studio - always searching for our own sound. Today, we combine the best of folk music, pop, and film music into our very own style: dialect pop with heart. With three-part vocals, versatile instruments, and a good portion of Tyrolean zest for life, we create music that touches, connects generations, tells stories, and creates unforgettable moments. There is probably no more fitting word to describe this music style than Tschentig. Martin Locher When Martin Locher enters the stage, something special happens. The quiet Tyrolean becomes a storyteller full of emotion - one who hits you right in the heart with every word. His timeless music is real, unadorned, and carried by stories that life writes. That's exactly what makes his songs so relatable. At "Klingende Weihnacht" in Seefeld, the audience can expect an evening full of emotions. Songs like "Hamweh", "Engl im Lebm" and "I vermiss di" unfold their full power - they tell of longing, of memories, and of encounters that get under your skin and remain in your heart forever. Together with his top-class band, Martin Locher provides a musical experience of the extra class: On drums, Michael Lerchster drives the evening forward with powerful precision, while Clemens Wirtenberger shines on piano and vocals with virtuosic sensitivity. Guitarist David Mana makes his strings glow with southern flair, and bassist Daniel Schweiger, as the "Rhythm King," provides the foundation. An evening that is not only heard but felt.
