"The Mill Clatters" - Mill Tour with Demonstration Milling
What's it about?
Experience the history of the last stamp mill in North Tyrol. During the tour of the Schmirn "Schnattermühle", you will learn how grain was once turned into flour here and why this type of mill is so rare today. Our expert will take you on a journey back in time to rural life of past centuries. Particularly impressive: the historic water wheel, which is running again after extensive restoration. A highlight for history and technology fans - and everyone who wants to experience the rustic ambience of an old mill up close. The preservation of the mill is made possible by voluntary donations.
