Lecture: "Last Aid"
What's it about?
Knowing how to do it at the end Small ABCs of end-of-life care The end of life and dying often leave us feeling helpless. Although most people wish to die at home, the majority of the population dies in hospitals and nursing homes. We offer a basic "Last Aid" course in which citizens learn what they can do for their fellow human beings at the end of life. Knowledge of "Last Aid" and caring for seriously ill and dying people must (again) become general knowledge. "Last Aid" courses provide basic knowledge and orientation as well as simple practical skills. End-of-life care is not a science, but practiced humanity, which is also possible within the family and neighborhood. We want to provide basic knowledge and encourage people to turn to the dying.
