Bartholomäuskirtag in Hintersee

What's it about?

In honor of St. Bartholomew, the small community of Hintersee annually celebrates the popular traditional Kirtag (traditional fair). Many visitors from the village, the surrounding communities, and guests from near and far celebrate when the festival opens at 10:00 AM, after church service. The traditional group, the Kameradschaft, the farmers' wives, and the Feichtenstoa Teifin jointly organize the Kirtag and provide culinary delicacies while the TMK Hintersee provides the musical entertainment. As is customary for a Kirtag, various goods are offered for sale at the market and vendor stalls. Special emphasis is placed on local and regional artisans and producers. The Hinterseer Kirtag is easily accessible for guests by public transport.
