Kesselheiße at Kranichsteg

What's it about?

The Kranichsteg is a popular meeting place, especially on Thursdays. As part of the Kesselheiße, a traditional Thursday event in Upper Austrian butcher shops, fresh sausages such as Frankfurter, Knacker, Debreziner, Käsekrainer, Scharfe, Weißwurst or Braunschweiger are enjoyed with a draft beer in our cozy guest rooms. During the warm season, our guest garden is also open on fine weather days. Our Thursday offer includes not only the obligatory sausages but also Blutwurstgröstl, Bosna, Goulash and daily specials. Of course, we have also thought of vegetarians on Thursdays. At Kranichsteg you can enjoy draft beer and Hopfenkönig from the Schloss Eggenberg brewery.
