What's it about?

A documentary film from the European Capital of Culture Summer 2024. Doors open: 7:00 PM, Start: 8:00 PM. A street music journey through the Salzkammergut. Hubert von Goisern and his guests performed at lakesides, city squares, in front of churches, on parking lots, in front of train stations, and even at a construction site as part of the 2024 European Capital of Culture. One day they were in a popular tourist city, another day they played in an old quarry at an inaccessible lakeshore reachable only by boat. Hubert von Goisern was accompanied by HvG-Culture Prize winners, long-time band members, and musical friends from the USA, who brought country vibes, bluegrass, and Latin American sounds to the Salzkammergut. The finale of the street music tour took place in St. Wolfgang – the only municipality in the Salzkammergut that did not participate in the Capital of Culture year – in the form of a spectacular, silent interpretation of "Heast as nit".
