Light and water are central to her visual world and connect with personal memories and geological timeframes – from glaciers, through the Ice Age, to the primordial Tethys Ocean, from which the Gosaukamm was formed. The ammonites, which have fascinated her since childhood, become a motif as well as traces of past Earth history.
