Jugendstilhaus

The four-story building is flanked by projecting bay windows on the left and right, which are connected by a balcony on the third floor. The central part ends in a curved roof gable. The facade is decorated with tendril- and snail-like ornaments. Through the successful combination of Art Nouveau department store architecture and elements of the Heimatstil (homeland style), such as gables and bay windows, as well as through the ornate facade design, the architect was able to seamlessly integrate this extraordinary building into the ensemble of the town square facades.
