What's it about?

In the Kalkalpen National Park, red deer live freely all year round. Autumn is mating season - then powerful calls echo through the mountain forests at dusk. The stags now seek the proximity of the female animals and compete with rivals. Accompanied by a National Park Ranger, you will experience the loud natural spectacle of the deer rut. Meeting point: Villa Sonnwend, 4575 Roßleithen, Mayrwinkl 80 Time & Duration: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM - Duration approx. 5 hours (pure walking time 1 hour) Ranger: Rudolf Mayrhofer Info: Suitable for children aged 8 and over.
