Latschenfest - im Brunnental Steyrling

What's it about?

Latschen Festival in the Brunnental (Valley) at Steyrling on October 26, 2026! Do you need Latschen (Pinus mugo, mountain pine), want to pick them yourself from the (cheese) mountain, and enjoy traditional delicacies in the Brunnental while being well entertained? Then we look forward to your visit! You can take the bus to Ahornalm, from there hike about 15 minutes to the Steyrerhütte, and another 15 minutes to the 'Kasbermulde'. Free entry - for the bus ride up and down the mountain, €15.00 must be paid, which includes a €3.00 voucher redeemable at Mangstlhof in Brunnental (delicacies and drinks). First mountain ascent at 9:00 AM, last ascent at 1:30 PM, last descent at 3:30 PM. Good footwear is required for the trip to Kasberg. Not suitable for people with mobility impairments.
