Malerin Christa Dirisamer

Christa Dirisamer, born in the Black Forest capital Freiburg/Brg., attended the Pestalozzischule there, followed by training in the fashion profession. Afterwards, she worked in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and finally in England as a designer. After marriage, she returned to Luxembourg, where she attended art school (Prof. Nies), among other places. Since 1975, Christa Dirisamer has been living with her husband in Steyrling and pursuing her own artistic path. Since early childhood, Christa Dirisamer has had a love and enthusiasm for color, pencil, and brush, and thus she has also captured her thoughts on a wide variety of themes in pictures. Her strong expressiveness and colorful intensity bear witness to Christa Dirisamer's outstanding artistic qualities and are by no means in contrast to her sunny disposition. Christa Dirisamer is given to vividly grasp and depict the "essence," be it of a face, a landscape, or a vision.
