What's it about?

The tour starts at the tourist office in front of the Kurhaus. The path leads with the salt boiler or the Kropfbrot baker down to the "cradle of the spa", the millennia-old Tassilo spring. Nobles, entrepreneurs, princes and industrialists met in the spa park, carefully avoiding the poor people and scabby children who only received healing baths during the night hours. The rich villa culture with its famous guests is the focus of the walk through the ancient English spa park, where disrespectful good-for-nothings also roamed. The spa doctor treated all kinds of diseases, including syphilis or lues, which were whispered about under the table. Extraordinary successes have been achieved since the fundamental research in eye treatment. The 90-minute tour ends in the Stadtmuseum Forum Hall with an immersion in the old bathing system and the great successes of the Paracelsus Institute.
